Day two - Antiques, Athens, and the Opry

If you are a fan of the American Pickers on the history channel you may know that they have a second store in Nashville. The piggy head is one of the more memorable picks (see pic)

Athens has a the Parthenon and so does Nashville. But Nashville's has an INSIDE replicating the Greek one before it crumbled.

The highlight of the day was attending a performance at the Grand Ole Opry.
Saw both old( Charlie Pride, Bill Anderson ) and new (Little Big Town).
I was really impressed with Garry Morris who has a voice that is more than any you expect in a country artist.

  1. I didn't expect to find you yet and here you've aleady posted three times! The above is -- um --interesting. Can't wait to see what else turns up. You are one great photographer, that's for sure!

  2. Blogging from the iPad is tricky. I cannot get the order of the pics correct. If you can stand the messiness, keep reading. I just read your post. Did you write a chapter today?
